Signup and magic link

Three ways in

You can sign in to Decifra Vet however you like: with Google (one click), with a magic link by email (no password to remember), or with email and password. The magic link is still the fastest way if you'd rather not manage a password.

How to sign up (with the magic link)

1. Go to /en/registrati
2. Enter your email
3. Tick Terms and Privacy
4. Click "Sign up with a magic link"
5. Open the email arriving within 30 seconds
6. Click "Sign in to Decifra Vet"
7. You're in

Prefer something else? On the same page you can also sign up with Google or set a password. The result is identical (and the welcome credits are the same).

On first signup you also get 1 free report analysis as welcome, and if you subscribe to the newsletter you get 3, so you can read your pet's reports right away.

How to sign in afterwards

Same flow: go to /en/accedi, enter email, click the link. Magic link expires in 15 minutes, then needs to be requested again.

Email not arriving?

In order of probability:

1. Spam / junk folder: check it. Sender: hello@decifra-vet.it
2. Provider filter: Gmail users, also check the "Promotions" tab
3. Strict corporate filters: ask IT to whitelist hello@decifra-vet.it
4. Typo in email: reload and retype carefully

If after 5 minutes still nothing, write to hello@decifra-vet.it.

Clicked the link but got logged out?

Possible causes:

• Link opened on a different device (e.g. phone vs PC where you asked): open on the right device
• Link expired (>15 min): request a new one
• Browser in private/incognito mode: cookies don't persist, try regular mode

Magic link security

• Single use: clicking once invalidates it
• 15 minute expiry
• Tied to original email: if someone intercepts the email but you quickly change your mailbox password, the old link becomes useless
• Never share the magic link: anyone with it gets into your account until logout

FAQ

Can I use an email alias (gmail with + plus)?+

Yes, all valid aliases are supported. Each different alias counts as a separate account, so you can separate 'home' from 'work' using aliases of the same address.

Can I change the email of my account?+

Not self-service yet. The email is the account key. To change it, email hello@decifra-vet.it and we migrate manually.

I forgot which email I used for my anonymous analysis. Can I recover it?+

Yes, email hello@decifra-vet.it with details you remember (approximate date, report type: blood panel, urine, x-ray), we help recover.
